Methods 1: Remove the super glue from the skin.
1, try tearing off the super glue first. Sometimes this is enough to remove the super glue. However, you need to tear it up very carefully. If you feel pain or find skin tearing, please stop immediately.
2. Try acetone. This method is suitable for people with rough skin, and people with sensitive skin may feel very irritating or dry. In addition, do not use acetone in open wounds:
Soak the skin in warm soapy water as soon as possible to soften the adhesive. Adding some cold white vinegar to the water may also help. Try to loosen the adhesive on the skin. If this doesn't work, you can pat the skin dry and prepare for the next step.
Use nail polish remover containing acetone. It must contain acetone, because acetone can soften cyanoacrylate. Apply nail polish remover to the super glue, and the dried glue should start to peel off from the skin. Never use a cotton swab because it will react violently with cyanoacrylate (smoke or catch fire).
When this part is dried, nail file is used to remove the adhesive. Be careful not to scrape off the skin. If you have a lot of glue on your hands, you can put your hands on the pumice soaked in warm water to clean them.
Let the adhesive fall off by itself. Super glue will turn white, but it won't hurt you, and it will eventually fall off without your help.
3. Try using vegetable butter. If you have sensitive skin, a little oil may improve the effect of removing super glue. Take a little vegetable butter and apply it repeatedly to the gummed skin area until the gum can be gently peeled off.
If you don't mind getting WD40 on your skin, you can also use this lubricant. If the acetone evaporates too fast to soften the adhesive, the same amount of acetone can be mixed with WD-40. If you want this mixture to stay on the skin or vertical surface for a long time, you can add a little vaseline. Apply this mixture to the skin in large quantities.
5. Use laundry detergent. Mix laundry detergent (any brand) with hot water. If you want to remove the adhesive (such as fingers) on a small area, it should be enough to mix 1/4 cups of laundry detergent with a cup of hot water (about 150 ml).
Rub the skin area coated with adhesive and soak it in this liquid for about 20 minutes to loosen a thick layer of adhesive.
Step 6 use salt. Put two tablespoons of salt in your hand.
Add a little water to turn the salt into a paste.
Apply the ointment to your hands for about 30 to 60 seconds.
Wash off a little paste.
Keep rubbing on your skin without adding water.
Repeat this step until the salt dissipates. I hope the adhesive has been peeled off by now.
7. Use vaseline. Wash hands and adhesive-stained skin areas with hot soapy water.
Apply a large amount of vaseline to the affected area.
Rub the area with nail file for about one minute, or until the adhesive is found to be peeling off.
Repeat this step and dry your hands.
