Heilongjiang institute of technology, founded in 1984, is located in the center of Jixi, a central city in the east of Heilongjiang Province. It is a public comprehensive full-time general undergraduate school approved by the Ministry of Education, focusing on engineering, covering management, economy, law, literature, education and other disciplines. Its predecessor was Jixi University. April 20 13, approved by the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed heilongjiang institute of technology.
