Luoyang molybdenum industry: entering a new era of "intelligence+green"

In order to solve the problems of safe mining, intelligent ore blending and goaf dispatching management, and realize the construction of smart mines, Luoyang Molybdenum Industry has carried out a series of research projects, such as "Safe development and utilization of open-pit mines", "Development and application of energy recovery system for complex road conditions of pure electric mining dump trucks" and "Key technologies of unmanned mining equipment and intelligent management and control integration of open-pit mines based on 5G communication", which took the lead in adopting open-pit digital production integration system in the industry, and realized production organization, dynamic ore blending management and ore and rock.

By using the industrialization technology of molybdenum tailings heating and cleaning, wastewater treatment and scheelite recovery, the company completed the experiment and industrial experiment of comprehensive recovery of scheelite from molybdenum tailings, which filled a blank in Henan Province. The popularization and application of scheelite recovery technology has effectively protected the environment, improved the utilization rate of resources, and made the dream of recovering scheelite of Moro people come true for more than 30 years.

According to statistics, Moro Group has carried out various forms of "Industry-University-Research" cooperation with more than 30 universities and research institutes at home and abroad to solve technical problems encountered in mining, metallurgy, chemical industry, environmental protection and other fields. In the past three years, more than 60 R&D projects have been implemented, and international leading or advanced scientific research achievements 14 have been obtained, and more than 50 awards and patents 106 have been won. The company's "Safe Mining and Disaster Control Technology of Concealed Metal Mineral Resources" and "Flotation Interface Assembly Technology of Strategic Mineral Resources Containing Tungsten, Fluorine, Phosphorus and Calcium" won the second prize of China Science and Technology Progress respectively.
