In fact, the first design scheme of the Eiffel Tower was put forward by Miles Cashlian and Emile Nougier of the Eiffel Design Company in May 1884. However, the first scheme has not attracted enough attention. Later, the architect Stefan sowestel made some changes in the sketch with a pencil: the diagonal number of components was reduced, and the tower was decorated with arch and other architectural means.
Only then did Eiffel discover the real value of this design. In September of the same year, Eiffel purchased the patent right and all materials related to the Eiffel Tower from the cooperators, and started the overall design of the Eiffel Tower.
1887, the Eiffel Tower was officially started. After 26 months' careful construction by 15000 workers, the tower was finally built in 1889. The Eiffel Tower is 320.7 meters high, and * * * uses 12000 metal parts, which are connected by 2.5 million rivets.
