In July, 2003, Chen Lifang graduated from Central South University majoring in metal materials engineering and came to the forming workshop of Southwest Aluminum Forging Factory with a vision and ideal for the future. A series of key problems such as forming and properties have been solved, and five national patents and 1 the first prize of China nonferrous metal industry science and technology have been won. The largest superalloy die forging in China has been successfully developed, which has filled the domestic blank and the benefit has exceeded100000 yuan. 20 13 won the May 1st Labor Medal of Chongqing, the May 1st Women's Medal of Chongqing and the National May 1st Labor Medal.

When he was looking for a job in his senior year, Chen Lifang stuck to his ideal, chose his major and chose Southwest Aluminum. Although this industry is dominated by men, she believes that through hard work, she can also become an excellent technician and contribute to the national defense and military industry. Southwest aluminum is not divided into commuting and holidays, and the mobile phone is turned on 24 hours. Even if there are problems in the workshop that need to be solved in the early morning, they should be dealt with at the scene immediately.

In the process of developing a new generation of large aluminum alloy forgings for domestic large aircraft, there is no technical reference at all because of the technical blockade of foreign countries. In order to truly grasp the authenticity of the data, in the development process, Chen Lifang personally participated in all the processes and links, and worked with the masters to carry out the most basic work such as forging and charging. In those days, I spent all day thinking about the process parameters, the details of the test, analyzing all kinds of data and adjusting the test plan. Chen Lifang and his colleagues, with the enthusiasm of rejuvenating the national industry, overcame the difficulties of equipment limit, process technology and production organization for more than four years, and finally made a number of major breakthroughs in key technologies, successfully developed super-large and highly integrated free forgings urgently needed by domestic large aircraft with the latest international level, formed proprietary core technologies, filled domestic gaps, and ensured the smooth progress of research and development tasks of domestic large aircraft.

In 2006, the research project of a certain aerospace super-large forging ring in China entered a stagnant stage. At that time, after three years of training, Chen Lifang felt that he had little knowledge of aluminum processing and wanted to make some contributions to the aerospace industry, so he volunteered to participate in this research and development task.

In the following five years, after more than 20 process modifications, more than 80 experiments and 1200 samples, Chen Lifang and his colleagues successfully developed the first super-large aluminum alloy forging ring in China, which provided a key material guarantee for the smooth development of a space project in China. We are also proud to call it "the first ring in Asia".

After that, Chen Lifang devoted more energy to optimizing the process of super-large forging ring and improving the product quality. After changing the forging method, selecting the ideal blank height and optimizing the heat treatment system, two years later, the process she designed successfully increased the yield from the original 12.5% to 100%, and successfully delivered 74 forged rings in 20 13 years, exceeding the previous level. Subsequently, Chen Lifang further optimized the forging heat treatment process and forging die design scheme of the same series of forging rings. This breakthrough has solved many technical problems and filled the gaps at home and abroad. This R&D project also won three national invention patents, namely "Forging process of a forging ring", "reaming tool" and "utility model patent of reaming tool", creating comprehensive economic benefits of about 2.3 million yuan.
