1. Causes of toilet splashing
Toilet splashing is an unavoidable phenomenon in the design of almost all toilets, and the reason is related to the toilet trap. The toilet trap has two main functions: one is to reduce the adhesion of dirt to the inner wall of the toilet, and the other is to prevent harmful gases from the sewer from entering the room through the toilet drain pipe. In order to achieve unified standards for these two functions, the national sanitary ceramics standards stipulate that the water seal height in the trap must be greater than 50mm, and the water seal area must be greater than 85mm × 100mm. When poop falls, it will inevitably cause the water surface of the toilet to rebound. Splashing is inevitable, but the height of the splash is different.
2. Solutions to toilet splashing
Solution 1 (designer): Some designers raise the height of the water seal.
Solution 2 (user): For toilets that really have no other solution, in order to reduce the impact of feces on the water surface, most users choose to use toilet paper to spread on the water surface.
Solution three (creative): Install a set of equipment in a specially designed toilet. Before using the toilet, press the switch, and the toilet water seal will be immediately covered with a layer of snow-white foam.
3. Special design of anti-splash foam toilet
Can all toilets be equipped with a foam device and have this anti-splash function? Unfortunately, this is not the case, because ordinary toilets cannot flush out foam, and a flushing pipe specially designed to flush out foam can flush used foam with very light density out of the sewage pipe at one time. So this is a small shame - it would be great if all toilets at home could be equipped with such foam devices.
