Materials required for the New York State Bar Examination:
Candidates are required to provide the original or photocopy of the following documents stamped by the original issuing authority. Do not accept any copies, faxes and official documents.
1. Original English transcript of China Law School (stamped with the official seal of the school). Transcripts should indicate the school time, courses, class hours, degrees awarded and the time when the degrees were awarded.
2. Bachelor's degree certificate of law school and its English translation (copy stamped with the official seal of the school). If the degree and acquisition time are not indicated on the transcript, candidates are also required to provide the degree certificate and English translation (the copy is stamped with the official seal of the school).
3. The original LLM graduation certificate and transcript of law school recognized by American Bar Association. In order to prove that you have completed at least 20 credit courses, the course must include at least two basic core courses:

As the qualification assessment of the law examination is not mandatory, we suggest that candidates should make the qualification assessment at least six months in advance before registering for the examination.

If conditions permit, it is best for your American law school to send your official transcripts directly to the Law Examination Committee. The exam in February will be issued before 1, and the exam in July will be issued before 1.
If you don't have time for qualification assessment, you must send all the required supporting documents and notarized handwriting to the office of the Law Examination Committee before the above deadline, and attach a letter stating that you have applied for the next examination. The Law Examination Committee will review all your supporting documents and will contact you if they find any problems with your examination qualifications.
