What is the qualification of law?

At present, there is only one kind of qualification certificate, that is, the legal professional qualification certificate, which must be obtained through the judicial examination. The national judicial examination is a qualification examination organized by the state to engage in a specific legal profession. Newly appointed judges, prosecutors and lawyers must pass the national judicial examination. The predecessor of the national judicial examination is the lawyer qualification examination. Since 2002, two internal professional qualification examinations have been added, namely, the prosecutor's examination and the judge's examination, which are collectively called the national unified judicial examination. The main contents of the examination include: theoretical law, applied law, current legal provisions, legal practice and legal professional ethics. The national judicial examination implements national unified proposition and marking, and the results are announced by the National Judicial Examination Office of the Ministry of Justice. The results of the national judicial examination are valid once. Those who pass the national judicial examination shall be awarded the legal professional qualification certificate by the Ministry of Justice.

1. Persons who meet the following conditions may register for the national judicial examination: (1) having China nationality; (two) support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), enjoy the right to vote and be elected; (3) Having full capacity for civil conduct; (4) graduated from a law major in an institution of higher learning or a non-law major in an institution of higher learning with legal professional knowledge; 5] Good conduct. Undergraduate graduates from ordinary colleges and universities can sign up for the national judicial examination. Applicants for graduation certificates (degrees) from Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan Province Province or foreign institutions of higher learning must be certified by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education. Those who meet the requirements for applying for academic qualifications (degrees) may apply for the national judicial examination.

2. Persons who are unable to register for the examination under any of the following circumstances, and have already gone through the registration procedures, the registration is invalid: (1) Those who have been criminally punished for intentional crimes; (2) Being expelled from public office by a state organ or having his lawyer's practice certificate or notary's practice certificate revoked; (3) Being sentenced to two years' imprisonment and not allowed to register for the national judicial examination, or being sentenced to life imprisonment and not allowed to register for the national judicial examination; (4) Providing false certification materials or obtaining registration by other means.

13. Those who have obtained a class A legal professional qualification certificate or a class B legal professional qualification certificate but have not obtained a bachelor's degree or above in an institution of higher learning may not register for the national judicial examination again.
