What laws do lawyers need to know?
Lawyer qualification refers to the formal conditions that a lawyer must have, that is, holding a lawyer qualification certificate (before 2002) or a legal professional qualification certificate (after 2002). Obtaining any certificate is regarded as obtaining the qualification of lawyer or lawyer's professional qualification or lawyer's practice qualification.
Article 5 of China's Lawyers Law stipulates that "a lawyer must obtain a lawyer's qualification and practice certificate before practicing." Article 6 stipulates two ways to obtain the qualification of lawyer: passing the national unified examination and being examined and approved by the judicial administrative department.
According to the provisions of the Lawyers Law, if you want to obtain a lawyer's qualification certificate, you must first pass the national unified judicial examination and then practice in a law firm for one year.
How much do lawyers usually charge?
Lawyer's fee refers to the service fee charged by a lawyer to a legal client. According to the type and region of the case, the charging standard adopts the methods of piece-by-piece charging, proportional charging according to the amount of the subject matter and time charging.
The method and amount of lawyer's fees shall be determined by the lawyer and the client through consultation within a certain range. Lawyers cannot collect other fees from clients without permission, and lawyers should follow the principles of openness, fairness, voluntary compensation, honesty and credibility.
According to the charging standards of lawyers in various places, the charging items of lawyers are mainly divided into criminal cases, civil cases and administrative cases. Specific fees include consulting fees, agency fees, document writing fees, lawyer witness fees, evidence investigation fees, information inquiry fees, travel expenses, etc. For the specific charging standards of these fees, please refer to the lawyer's charging standards in some areas.

Article 5
To apply for practicing as a lawyer, the following conditions shall be met:
(a) support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC);
(2) Obtaining the legal professional qualification through the national unified legal professional qualification examination;
(3) Having worked as an intern in a law firm for one year;
(4) Good conduct.
The national unified judicial examination certificate and lawyer qualification certificate obtained before the implementation of the national unified legal professional qualification examination have the same effect as the national unified legal professional qualification certificate.
