About the Judicial Examination in 2007

Judicial examination is a compulsory examination for studying law, just as you must pass the college entrance examination to go to college.

The judicial examination used to be called the law examination, which means that you can become a lawyer and apply for a lawyer's license if you pass it. After the reform, only those who have passed the judicial examination are qualified to be judges, prosecutors and lawyers. Of course, when judges and prosecutors want to pass the civil service examination, the most basic requirement for taking the civil service examination for judges and prosecutors now is that you must pass the national judicial examination, and lawyers can only apply for a lawyer's license if they obtain a certificate of passing the national judicial examination.

At present, you must have a bachelor's degree or above to apply for the judicial examination. Class A means that your score has reached the passing line stipulated by the Ministry of Justice in that year, generally 360, while Class B is a loose area, generally a relatively poor area, lower than the score of Class A, which is also the score stipulated by the Ministry of Justice. But formally speaking, if you get a B, for example, if you want to be a lawyer, you can only practice in a more relaxed area.

The exam lasts for 2 days, and there are 1 * * * 4 volumes. The first three volumes are objective questions, that is to say, they are all single choice questions, multiple choice questions and indefinite choice questions. You must draw an answer sheet. Each test paper has 100 questions, including 50 single-choice questions, each with 1 point, and 50 multiple-choice questions and indefinite multiple-choice questions, each with 2 points, that is, a test paper has a perfect score of 150 points. The fourth volume is a subjective topic, that is, a subjective topic, which probably includes criminal law, civil law, case analysis of major department law, and judicial documents (not necessarily, there were no judicial documents in 2006), followed by two essay questions, accounting for a relatively large score.

Volume I: Constitution, jurisprudence, legal history, Three Kingdoms (public international law, private international law, international economic law), economic law;

Volume II Examination: Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure Law, Administrative Law and Administrative Procedure Law;

Volume III: Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law, Commercial Law (including many messy company laws such as auction law, securities law, banking law, etc. );

The fourth volume: comprehensive evaluation and subjective writing. Generally speaking, it is to test several large cases of departmental law, as well as the theoretical analysis of constitutional law, jurisprudence and administration.

I passed the judicial examination last year. To sum up, the judicial examination must have enough time to study repeatedly, because the content is too much and too complicated, but the preparation time should not be too long. I started in May last year, and when I read it in September, I felt sick when I saw the book. By mid-September, I can't get into the exam at all, so I must grasp it well from May to July. As long as the foundation is solid, I am not afraid.
