Main characters of "The Hidden Corner":
Zhu Chaoyang/Yan Liang: Zhu Chaoyang/Yan Liang/Pupu/Zhang Dongsheng
"Bad Boy" Main characters: Zhu Chaoyang/Ding Hao/Pupu/Zhang Dongsheng
Character differences: In order to weaken the image of the "all-powerful villain" in the original work, Ding Hao, the oldest and most innocent of the three children, was replaced by Yan Liang. Ding Hao, the most innocent of the three children, was changed into Yan Liang, and Yan Liang, the highly intelligent but paranoid criminal expert in the play, was changed into the kind and responsible old policeman Chen Guansheng. The differences are as follows:
Zhu Chaoyang in the original work: is very thoughtful. From the moment he let Ding Hao and Pu Pu in, he regretted letting them in after only a few words. After hearing that Ding Hao and Pupu's parents were both murderers, he had drawn a clear line between them from the bottom of his heart and even wanted to call the police. The reason why he spent money for the two of them to live in his home temporarily was purely out of fear. He was afraid that Ding Hao would run away again after being sent back to the orphanage and come back to settle the score with him.
Zhu Chaoyang in the play: a taciturn academic master who suffered from cold violence in school (cold violence from his classmates and class teacher), so he cherishes Yanli and Pupu, and everything is for their own good.
Pu Pu in the original work: His original name is Xia Yue Pu, he has a sensitive personality, and his father was wrongfully accused of murder (for killing his wife and son). Pu Pu hates his brother who took away his mother's love, and also hates his mother who only loves his brother (the original work implies that both of them were killed by Pu Pu).
So after learning about the relationship between Zhu Jingjing and Zhu Chaoyang, Pupu took the initiative to stand up, just because Zhu Chaoyang's experience reminded her of herself.
Pupu has a paranoid character and is cruel. When she was a child, she pushed a female classmate who teased her into the water and drowned. Therefore, she was not accepted by her relatives and was eventually sent to an orphanage.
Puppu was molested by the director of the orphanage, and his heart was filled with darkness ever since. Pupu in the play: Although impulsive, he is very loyal. Whether she unconditionally supports Zhu Chaoyang, helps Zhu Chaoyang teach Zhu Jingjing a lesson, or raises medical expenses for a so-called friend who has never shown up, it shows that she is a poor child who no one loves.
Ye Jun in the original work: reckless and violent. Precisely because he knew that Zhu Chaoyang was treated coldly by his father, out of sympathy, he believed that Zhu Chaoyang was pure and innocent. Ye Jun likes Zhu Chaoyang, "someone else's child," so he often uses violence against his daughter Ye Chimin because her test scores are not as good as Zhu Chaoyang's. He also likes Zhu Chaoyang, "someone else's child" very much.
In the movie, Ye Jun is an experienced criminal policeman and a cheerful father who loves his daughter very much. Prototype Ye Chimin: Jealous of Zhu Chaoyang, he framed Zhu Chaoyang many times, causing Zhu Chaoyang to be isolated by his classmates and class teacher. Her biggest wish is that Zhu Chaoyang has an accident.
Ye Qimin in the play: A girl who is common in adolescence and refuses to admit defeat. Because she is not convinced that Zhu Chaoyang’s grades are better than hers, she always encourages herself to reflect. Being small is also really small, and being inspirational is also really inspiring.
Yan Liang (played by Ding Hao) prototype: honest and reckless, very good at fighting. When he was in the orphanage, he often beat up and teased everyone. He doesn't like reading, but he still has the ability to distinguish right from wrong, but he is always exploited by Pu Pu's sympathy and cannot extricate himself. Ding Hao felt that Zhang Dongsheng was actually a good person just because he bought him a game console.
Yan Liang in the play: Brave, precocious and responsible, honest and reckless, kind-hearted, and believes that Pupu is his sister, so he desperately takes Pupu out of the orphanage and takes good care of her. In order to save Pupu's friends, he was involved in Zhang Dongsheng's blackmail case.
Plot difference: Zhang Dongsheng bumped into Wang Li kidnapping Zhu Chaoyang and his son, and had no choice but to kill Wang Li and barely rescue Zhu Chaoyang. Later, Wang Li's body was discovered by Zhu Chaoyang's father Zhu Yongping and stepmother Wang Yao, and he had no choice but to kill them again. At this point, Zhang Dongsheng has killed five people one after another: Zhang Dongsheng's parents-in-law, Zhang Dongsheng's wife Xu Jing, Zhu Chaoyang's father Zhu Yongping, and Zhu Chaoyang's stepmother Wang Yao.
Original plot: Zhang Dongsheng planned for a year. After killing his parents-in-law and wife, he quickly cremated the three bodies, completing a perfect crime. After receiving all the inheritance from the couple, Zhang Dongsheng enjoyed a peaceful life and did not want to kill anyone again. However, he was blackmailed by his three children because he was filmed killing someone. Ding Hao and Pu Pu blackmailed him for 300,000 yuan.
Zhu Chaoyang, on the other hand, forced him to kill Zhu Yongping and Wang Yao.
The use of editing very cleverly implies that Zhu Jingjing was pushed down by Zhu Chaoyang. This is hinted at at the end of episode 12 through Pupu's off-screen voice.
Original plot: Zhu Chaoyang directly carried Zhu Jingjing to the balcony, and pushed Zhu Jingjing off the balcony during the dispute. After that, Zhu Chaoyang completely turned dark. When he wanted to kill his father, everyone tried their best to stop him. Even Pupu was moved and frightened by his thoughts. Only he calmly made all arrangements.
After Zhu Jingjing’s death, when Wang Yao and the police interrogated Zhu Chaoyang, Zhu Chaoyang was flustered and could not hide his emotions well.
Original plot: Zhu Chaoyang has long read in political books that minors under the age of fourteen do not have to bear criminal responsibility for murder, so after killing Zhu Jingjing, he quickly calmed down and became calm. took advantage of the police's sympathy. Pu Pu was anxious when he saw Zhu Chaoyang being kidnapped by Wang Li. He had no choice but to get into Zhang Dongsheng's car, hoping that Zhang Dongsheng would rescue Zhu Chaoyang.
Zhu Yongping accidentally discovered Wang Li's body and was killed by Zhang Dongsheng, and then Wang Yao was also killed.
Original plot: When Zhu Yongping and Wang Yao were sweeping Zhu Jingjing’s grave, Pu Pu and Ding Hao pretended to go to the grave next door.
In order to save Pu Pu’s sick brother, Pu Pu and Ding Hao blackmailed Zhang Dongsheng for 300,000 yuan.
It turns out: I want money entirely for my future life.
After Pu Pu was detained by Zhang Dongsheng, he suffered an asthma attack and died without having time to inhale the medicine. When Zhang Dongsheng was confronting Zhu Chaoyang, Yan Liang confronted Zhu Chaoyang to prevent Zhu Chaoyang from killing Zhang Dongsheng. Yan Liang accidentally fell into the sea and drowned. Zhu Chaoyang had the chance to save him, but he never extended a saving hand.
Original plot: In order to celebrate Zhu Chaoyang's successful patricide, the three children and Zhang Dongsheng celebrated at Zhang Dongsheng's house. Zhang Dongsheng prepared non-toxic pastries, poisonous drinks, and even a spare dagger. Pu Pu and Ding Hao were poisoned and died. Zhu Chaoyang had already expected that Zhang Dongsheng would not let the three of them go, so he changed the drinks and pretended to be poisoned and fell to the ground. When Zhang Dongsheng subdued Pu Pu and Ding Hao, he stabbed Zhang Dongsheng to death with a dagger from behind. Then, Zhu Chaoyang poured out a non-toxic drink, scratched his arm again, washed away the fingerprints on the knife, and printed Ding Hao's fingerprints on the knife. He reshaped the murder scene and turned it into the illusion that Zhang Dongsheng killed someone and was stabbed to death during the fight with Ding Hao. On top of that, he used a fake diary to turn it all into a perfect murder. From then on, a new life began.
After Zhu Jingjing's death, Zhu Chaoyang gradually reconciled with his father and enjoyed the hard-won father's love. After Zhu Yongping was killed by Zhang Dongsheng, Zhu Chaoyang ignored Zhang Dongsheng's life and death and confronted Zhang Dongsheng tit for tat.
Original plot: After Zhu Yongping died, Zhu Chaoyang moved the corpse to the scene in order to inherit the inheritance, so that the corpse was quickly discovered, and then inherited Zhu Yongping's millions of property.
