How to deal with gambling surrender

Legal analysis: criminals who surrender themselves can be given a lighter or mitigated punishment. Among them, if the crime is minor, the punishment may be exempted.

Legal basis: Article 67 (1) of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) voluntarily surrenders himself after committing a crime and truthfully confesses his crime. Criminals who surrender themselves may be given a lighter or mitigated punishment. Among them, if the crime is minor, the punishment may be exempted. Article 67, paragraph 2: If a criminal suspect or defendant who is serving a sentence under compulsory measures truthfully confesses other crimes that are not mastered by the judicial organs, he shall be deemed to have surrendered himself. Article 67 (3) A criminal suspect who truthfully confesses his crime may be given a lighter punishment, although he does not have the circumstances of surrender as stipulated in the preceding two paragraphs. Those who truthfully confess their crimes and avoid particularly serious consequences may be given a mitigated punishment.
