Measures to deal with the expiration of industrial land use period:

1. According to Article 40 of the Provisional Regulations on Assignment and Transfer of State-owned Land Use Rights in Cities and Towns, upon the expiration of the land use rights, the land use rights and the ownership of buildings and other attachments on the ground shall be obtained by the state free of charge.

Article 41 stipulates that upon the expiration of the land use right, the land user may apply for renewal.
