Where is the ancient Surabaya?

In today's surabaya county, Jining, the ancient Surabaya is one of the four ancient blasphemies. However, due to the establishment of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal after the Yuan Dynasty, Surabaya became a tributary. Now Surabaya is also called Sihe River, which originated in Quanlin Town and has four sources. The river is more than 360 kilometers long.

There are still many controversies about the birthplace of Surabaya. It is stated in Water Mirror Notes that the birthplace of Surabaya is Linquan Group of Surabaya Spring, but there are also data that the source of Surabaya is at the western foot of Taiping Mountain or the southern foot of Dongmeng Mountain in Xintai County.

Surabaya, now called Sihe River, runs east-west, originating in Pei Wei, Quanlin Town, with a total length of 360 kilometers. Sihe River is composed of four springs: Hongshan Spring, Pearl Spring, Baotu Spring and Black Tiger Spring, so today Sihe River has four sources.
