"Concealing and concealing the crime" originated from the Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Several Issues Concerning the Specific Application of Laws in Handling Criminal Cases of Theft, Robbery, Fraud and Robbery of Motor Vehicles, which was implemented in May 2007 1 1. Aiming at theft, robbery, fraud and motor vehicle robbery, this explanation refines and supplements the contents of the crime of harboring, transferring, purchasing and selling stolen goods stipulated in Article 3 12 of the Criminal Law, and solves several legal problems that are common in practice and easy to cause controversy.
Article 312 of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates: "Whoever knowingly harbors, transfers, purchases, sells on his behalf or conceals or conceals by other means shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years, criminal detention or public surveillance, and shall also or only be fined; If the circumstances are serious, he shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than three years but not more than seven years and fined. " At the same time, the crime of harboring, transferring, purchasing and selling stolen goods is amended to cover up and conceal the crime.
