At the time of the incident, Yang Chunbo was working in a coal mine contracted by his fellow villagers in Shantou Township, Hongtong County; Qu Moumou, a native of Henan, contracted coal mines in Shantou Township, Hongtong County. When the car went to the intersection of Xigou Road, Antou Village, Shantou Township, Yang Chunbo saw the victim Qu Moumou, so he got off and stabbed Qu Moumou with a knife, and then fled the scene. It was identified that Qu Moumou died of hemorrhagic shock caused by the rupture of pericardium, diaphragm and liver with a single-edged sharp instrument.

The procuratorate believes that Yang Chunbo deliberately deprived others of their lives with a knife because of trivial matters, resulting in their death. His behavior violated Article 232 of the Criminal Law of People's Republic of China (PRC). The facts of the crime are clear, and the evidence is true and sufficient.
