The Law School of Fujian Normal University is a newly-built college. Its predecessor can be traced back to the School of Economics and Law of Fujian Normal University, which was founded in 1994. Since its establishment, the School of Economics and Law has made outstanding achievements in scientific research and personnel training, and has become one of the main academic departments of our school. In order to further adapt to the large demand for legal talents from the reform and opening up and the development of socialist market economy, the school integrated the law department of the former Institute of Economic Law and the law teaching and research section of the Marxist-Leninist Department (Management Department), and formally established the Law School in June 2003. From June 5438 to 10, 2003, Fujian Judicial School was established on March 9, 2003, and its team was further expanded. The College is located at No.55 Shoushan Road, Cangshan District, Fuzhou, with an area of 14657 square meters and a building area of 20568 square meters. In 2003, the research direction of Marxist legal theory and practice was set up in the master's degree program of Marxist theory and ideological and political education to recruit law graduates. The college now has teaching and research sections of comprehensive law, criminal law, civil and commercial law, economic law and public law, and has established the Law School of Fujian Normal University and the Student Legal Consultation and Assistance Center of Fujian Normal University.
The college adheres to the combination of teaching and scientific research, actively encourages and supports teachers to carry out scientific research work, and supports high-level teaching quality with high-level academic achievements and excellent academic leaders.
