On June 7, 2004, FDA issued a warning that it is illegal to distribute products containing domperidone in any form. Domperidone is found in both Chinese patent medicines and raw materials.

The Embassy of China also listed drugs and ingredients prohibited by US Customs.
Deng Hong, a lawyer from China, said that if the drugs carried by passengers entering the United States contain prohibited ingredients, it is a lighter punishment for the customs to repatriate them and sentence them to five years' ban. He said that many passengers carrying contraband will argue that they don't know the relevant regulations or what's in the items they bring to their relatives and friends, but this explanation is not convincing in court.

Morphines
