(2) To bring a public prosecution on behalf of the state; In cases where the people's procuratorate decides to initiate public prosecution, the prosecutor participates in the trial as a state prosecutor and supports public prosecution.

(3) Investigating criminal cases directly accepted by people's procuratorates according to law; According to the Organic Law of the People's Procuratorate and the Criminal Procedure Law, the People's Procuratorate is also responsible for the direct investigation of specific cases. As a person who directly exercises the procuratorial power of the state, one of the duties of a prosecutor is to investigate criminal cases directly accepted by the people's procuratorate according to law.

(4) Other duties as prescribed by law.
