Chapter II General Goods Management

Article 5 A detention center may allow detainees to bring the following common articles into the prison room:

(1) Clothing and bedding such as clothes, trousers, shoes, socks, hats, bedding, glasses (limited to plastic frames and resin lens glasses);

In addition to the items listed in Item (1) of Article 5, tea-soaked drinks, foods (except brewed drinks) and nutrition and health products can be sent (mailed) by relatives of detainees.

Other items are purchased and supplied by the detention center in principle; If it is really necessary to send (send) by the relatives of the detainees, it shall be approved by the leaders. For the goods purchased by the detainees at their own expense, the supply price of the detention center shall not be higher than the local retail market price, and no additional "purchasing fee" or "hardship fee" shall be charged.

Article 7

Detention centers should strictly control the supply or purchase of commonly used items to ensure safety. When a detention center enters the prison, it must carefully check the common articles carried by detainees, their relatives and lawyers to prevent contraband, letters and bills from being brought into the prison.

Clothes, shoes and hats decorated with metals, belts and other components that hinder safety are not allowed to be brought into the prison room. If it is really necessary to bring it in, the relevant parts should be removed with the consent of the detainee or the sender.

Article 8 A detention center shall, according to the needs of prison room management, appropriately control the number of articles brought by detainees into the prison room. Clothes, quilts, etc. Items temporarily unused due to seasonal changes should be stored in the storage room.

Article 9 Nutrition and health care products taken by detainees may be allowed to be stored in a proper amount in the prison room after being confirmed by the doctors in the detention center and approved by the leaders, or they may be kept by the doctors on their behalf and distributed on tour.
