Conditions for retired judges to become lawyers

Legal analysis: According to the relevant laws and regulations of our country, a judge who has the qualification of lawyer after leaving or retiring can engage in the lawyer profession, but the corresponding laws also have corresponding "competition" restrictions. In other words, judges can apply for a lawyer's qualification certificate after retirement. Legal basis: Article 41 of the Lawyers Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) stipulates that a lawyer who once served as a judge or prosecutor may not serve as an agent ad litem or defender for two years after leaving the people's court or people's procuratorate.
