What channels can consumers take to protect their rights?

1. negotiate with the operator. As consumers, we can negotiate with the operators to solve problems, such as: show the operators the goods we bought, guarantee that they are fakes, and give some compensation after the other party agrees.

2. Ask the consumer association for mediation. We can call 123 15 to ask the Consumers Association to mediate, reflect our own problems and ask them to help us defend our rights.

3. Complain to the relevant administrative department. When we can't solve the problem through consultation with the operator, we can complain to the relevant administrative department, tell them that what we bought has quality problems, and then tell which operator sold it, and the administrative department can help us protect our rights.

4. Arbitration by arbitration institutions. We can defend our rights through arbitration institutions. Although this kind of rights protection is a bit troublesome, the effect is the best. We can provide relevant evidence and go to an arbitration institution for arbitration.

5. Bring a lawsuit to the people's court. If the legitimate rights and interests of consumers are infringed, they may bring a lawsuit to the people's court and request the people's court to conduct a trial in accordance with legal procedures.

In China, litigation can be roughly divided into three forms:

(1) criminal proceedings;

(2) civil litigation;

(3) Administrative litigation. The lawsuit brought by consumers because their legitimate rights and interests are infringed belongs to the category of civil litigation.

Article 34 of the Law on the Protection of Consumers' Rights and Interests clearly stipulates: "When there is a consumer rights dispute between consumers and business operators, it can be resolved through the following channels:

(1) negotiate with the operator;

(2) Requesting consumers' associations to mediate;

(three) to appeal to the relevant administrative departments;

(four) according to the arbitration agreement reached with the operator, submit it to an arbitration institution for arbitration;

(5) bring a lawsuit to the people's court.
