The achievements of Clarence Danno

During his court career of more than 50 years, Danno has made countless wonderful defenses for various criminal defendants in American society, such as labor leaders, anarchists, colored people, evolutionists, minors and so on. His eloquent words, fierce scenes, skillful skills and tortuous defense process endowed this rational legal profession with cowboy-like passion in the western United States, so Danno was praised as the "old lion" in the legal field by the American media.

Citing Danno's autobiography, the classic cases represented by Danno mainly include: the explosion of the Los Angeles Times Building, the coal mine strike, the murders of Loubo and Libo Road, and the famous court debate on evolution. When representing the above-mentioned cases, Danno played his excellent defense ability and published many wonderful arguments. Just one example can give us a glimpse of Danno's philosophical thinking talent in defense. When defending a juvenile suspect, Danno stated in court: "Why did they kill Bobby Frank? Dear people, I know that the life of every atom in the universe is connected. I know that throwing a pebble into the sea will not affect every drop of seawater. I know that every life is inevitably intertwined with other lives. I know that every conscious and unconscious influence will have an effect and reaction on every living body, and no one can arrange fate. I know that all life is made up of a series of infinite opportunities, sometimes the result is this way, sometimes it is that way. Like others, I don't have infinite wisdom to understand ... why should this little boy's life be linked with Nietzsche who died of insanity in Germany 30 years ago? I don't know. I only know that it is ... ".
