According to the current criminal procedure law, if the defendant has no defender or the defender does not appear in court, the criminal suspect, the defendant's immediate family members and spouse may entrust a lawyer to participate in the trial. At the same time, the legal representative of a minor who constitutes a criminal act may also entrust a lawyer to defend him.
