How much is the lawyer's consultation fee?

The fees charged by lawyers in law firms vary from place to place. Generally, the fees for providing legal advice range from 200 to 2000 yuan, but the amount is for reference only.

There are three ways to consult a lawyer on legal issues. The first way is online consultation. Most law firms are so free to consult legal questions. You can consult through website messages, emails and legal question and answer websites. The second is telephone consultation. Most law firms do not charge consulting fees for clients who consult by telephone. In general, the consultation time should not exceed 10 minutes. The third type is appointment consultation. Through face-to-face consultation with lawyers, under normal circumstances, lawyers will charge consulting fees according to the standard of 200-2000 yuan. However, if they sign an agency contract with a lawyer at a later stage, they can ask for the preliminary consultation fee to be deducted from the corresponding lawyer's fee.

Civil cases, administrative cases, state compensation cases, criminal cases and other litigation cases provided by law firms are subject to government-guided prices, while other legal services provided by lawyers are subject to market-regulated prices. The benchmark price and floating range of government-guided prices shall be formulated by the competent price departments of the people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government in conjunction with the judicial administrative departments at the same level.

In other words, the lawyer's fee standard varies according to the service content, the complexity of the case, the subject matter and the living standard in the area. And it needs to be judged according to your local actual situation. You can consult local lawyers by consulting the Measures for the Administration of Lawyers' Service Fees.

If the legal relationship of your case is simple and the subject matter is not big, then you can also choose not to entrust a lawyer and bring a lawsuit directly to the people's court with jurisdiction. If the case is complicated and the subject matter of the disputed property is large, it is recommended to entrust a lawyer to represent the lawsuit.
