Does the victim's attorney have the right to read the papers in criminal cases?

hello

The Criminal Procedure Law only stipulates the provision of entrusting an agent ad litem, but does not expressly stipulate the problem of marking papers by agents ad litem (including lawyers).

Article 56 of the Rules of Criminal Procedure of the People's Procuratorate stipulates that with the permission of the People's Procuratorate, if an agent ad litem consults, extracts or copies the case file, it shall be handled with reference to the provisions of Articles 47 to 49 of these Rules. Article 57 of the Interpretation on the Application of the Criminal Procedure Law stipulates that with the permission of the people's court, an agent ad litem may consult, extract and copy the case file.

Based on the above provisions, when a lawyer acts as an agent ad litem, the right to read papers is limited, that is, it must be approved by the case-handling organ.
