With the development of information networking, our personal privacy is becoming more and more likely to be leaked, and the leakage of personal information can also easily cause unnecessary trouble. Luoyang police arrested 43 telecommunications fraud suspects at the China-Myanmar border
On March 16, the police arrested 27 telecommunications fraud suspects at the China-Myanmar border. Subsequently, after careful investigation of key areas in Menglian County, the police arrested 15 criminal suspects in Lancang County on the 22nd, and arrested the criminal suspect Wang Mou who organized personnel to illegally smuggle out of the country to engage in telecommunications network fraud.
So, what are the dangers of telecommunications fraud that we are familiar with?
In August 2016, Xu Yuyu, a high school graduate from Linyi City, Shandong Province, who had just received a university admission notice, received a fraudulent call. The defendant Chen Wenhui and others defrauded Xu Yuyu of her entire tuition fee of 9,900 yuan in the name of granting scholarships. Xu Yuyu died of grief after calling the police.
In fact, telecom fraud cases have emerged one after another in recent years. In April 2016, the Guizhou police successfully detected a huge telecom fraud case involving a total amount of 117 million yuan. Immediately afterwards, Xu Yuyu, a prospective college student from Shandong, was defrauded and died, which showed us the rampant trend of telecom fraud. However, the dangers of telecommunications fraud cannot be underestimated. According to public information, in 2015 alone, the economic losses caused by telecommunications network fraud were as high as 22.2 billion yuan.
One: Let society lack integrity
A society with a perfect market economy is a society based on an honest society. Scam calls are eroding the foundation of an honest society and leading to a crisis of trust between people. In the end, no one can be trusted, and even the phone calls from parents, children or friends must be questioned. In such a society, everyone lacks a sense of security and is full of doubts about this false society, and people's happiness is greatly reduced.
Two: Exacerbating social instability
The success of telecommunications fraud means the beginning of pain for the victims. While the defrauded suffer financial losses, they also suffer great physical and mental harm, which not only seriously affects family life and children's education, but also increases the risk of unstable factors such as suicide, becoming the source of social instability and causing serious social consequences.
