Why is justice always late?

Justice will be late, but never absent. That sounds reasonable, but the question is how long it will be, even a year or two later. If it is ten or twenty years late, it is obvious that there are problems or loopholes in the law or law enforcement. We must investigate the responsibility and take measures to prevent it from happening again. We must never apologize or review it. We should also ask why our justice is often late. I think this is a common concern of the public, and there are many misunderstandings. It is necessary to discuss it in order to improve and unify our thinking.

People often encounter some questions about right and wrong, justice and injustice, which need to be answered immediately. In reality, most of these answers can not be presented immediately, and it is impossible to make a decision immediately like a referee in a competitive sports competition. This is the phenomenon of justice "being late" mentioned in the title.

There is a process to judge the quality of anything, and the length of this process is determined according to its difficulty. For example, a criminal case involving law requires a series of complete evidence, such as witness and physical evidence, and the inevitable connection between various evidence chains, which is very complicated and meticulous. Ordinary right and wrong that does not involve law cannot be judged in time for various reasons.

From this point of view, in a certain range, in relatively important and complicated matters, it is inevitable that the judiciary will be "late".

Therefore, people can't force all justice to be done in time, and all injustice to be punished in time.

In order to protect citizens' vital interests, life and property and the most important rights and interests, the state has a series of strict norms in the legal system, such as stipulating the time limit for handling cases and related procedures, and promulgating the system of investigating misjudged cases, the state compensation law, and the lawyer system. It can effectively prevent the lack or "lateness" of the judiciary, crack down on crimes to the maximum extent, and protect the judiciary from infringement or blasphemy. Even so, it is still impossible to completely eliminate the occurrence of unjust, false and misjudged cases, nor can it completely guarantee that all justice will be done in time, let alone that every illegal and criminal act will be punished in time.

As for disciplines, rules and regulations that have nothing to do with the law and need moral adjustment, the arrival of justice will also be restricted by various conditions, and often "being late" becomes a common phenomenon.

Because judicial delay is an inevitable universal phenomenon. So, is it meaningful to be late for justice?

The answer is yes!

In the history of our Party, in the process of nearly 70 years since the founding of New China, there have been many cases of vindicating false and wrongful cases and upholding justice, which have liberated and protected many cadres and masses who have been treated wrongly, and made the society return to rationality and people's hearts return to justice. The just return of being "late" for many years has promoted the progress of the legal system, promoted the development of productive forces and demonstrated the power of fairness and justice. This is also a sign that our party and country are confident, brave, capable and highly responsible for people's interests.

Avoiding the national level, for a political party,

Late justice can make the victim's injustice obvious and get due spiritual and material compensation; Let the misunderstood and even humiliated people calm down and return to innocence;

Late justice can make those who are in the position to judge whether justice is correct get the punishment they deserve;

The belated justice can make the perpetrators who have escaped punishment get legal sanctions or moral and public opinion condemnation;

Late justice can educate citizens to abide by the law and dare to fight injustice;

What does late justice mean to the legal system construction and the whole society? It provides experience and lessons for the future construction and improvement of the legal system. It shows the public the dignity of justice and the hatred of injustice. It is conducive to protecting justice and combating injustice.

Although justice often comes late, its vitality is extremely vigorous and powerful. Because the more help you get, the less help you lose! Because, the will of the people and justice are eternal! Also because, "paper can never contain fire"!

Anyone who infringes and damages the interests of the state, the collective and the individual should not take chances, and should not show off in an ostentatious manner or report it before it is time. Justice will come eventually! Justice representing the interests of the people will "settle accounts" with them sooner or later!

Anyone who is hurt by injustice should not be discouraged or depressed, and firmly believe that justice will come to him one day.
