A Brief Introduction to Yihe Village

Over the years, the village party committee has always adhered to the "Theory of Three Represents" theory as a guide, followed the strategic policy of grasping the three civilizations together, conscientiously implemented the Scientific Outlook on Development, carried forward the spirit of unity, forge ahead, pragmatism and high efficiency, done all the work well, and constantly developed and expanded the collective economy. Great changes have taken place in the material and cultural life and spiritual outlook of the villagers. The whole village has started a new happy event, lost its simplicity, respected the old and cared for the young, United and helped each other, and became a common practice. Social order remained stable and legal education made unremitting efforts. The village committee has been awarded the honorary title of civilized unit of province, city, district and town for many years. In 2000, it was rated as one of the top 100 villages with comprehensive strength at the provincial level, and in 2006, it was rated as a demonstration village of democracy and rule of law in Jinan. The village party Committee was rated as the "Five Good Village Party Branch" in Lixia District.
