Sichuan University, referred to as "Sichuan University" for short, is one of the key construction universities in China's "985 Project" and "21Project", and was selected as "201Plan", "Everest Plan" and "1650". It is one of the 32 vice-ministerial universities in China, one of the 56 universities approved by the Ministry of Education to build graduate schools, one of the 34 famous universities independently marked by graduate students, and the "National Overseas High-level Talents Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base". Known as the first university in the west.
Sichuan University is located in Chengdu, a land of abundance, with three campuses, namely Wangjiang, Huaxi and Jiang 'an, covering an area of 7,050 mu and a construction area of 2.546 million square meters.
By the end of 20 13, there were 44 first-class disciplines, 349 doctoral degree authorization points, 443 master degree authorization points, 32 professional degree authorization points, 33 undergraduate majors 133, 37 postdoctoral mobile stations, 46 national key disciplines and 4 national key training disciplines, making it the first batch of engineering doctoral training units in China.
