Legal analysis: lawyers as a legal adviser, shall provide advice on legal issues, drafting, review of legal instruments, representation in litigation, mediation or arbitration activities, for the hirer entrusted with other legal affairs, to safeguard the lawful rights and interests of the hirer.

Article 28 lawyers may engage in the following businesses:
(1) accept natural persons, legal persons or other organizations, as legal adviser;
(2) accept civil cases, administrative cases, as an agent to take part in litigation;
(C) accepting the entrustment of criminal suspects and defendants in criminal cases or the assignment of legal aid organizations in accordance with the law, acting as a defender, and accepting the entrustment of self-represented litigants in private prosecution cases, victims in public prosecution cases, or their close relatives, acting as an agent to participate in litigation;
(D) accepting the entrustment of acting as an agent for various types of litigations in the case of complaints;
(E) accepting the entrustment of participating in mediation and arbitration activities;
(6) accepting entrustment, providing non-litigation legal services;
(7) answering inquiries about the law, writing litigation documents and other documents related to legal affairs.
Article 29 of the lawyer as a legal adviser, shall, in accordance with the agreement for the client on the legal issues involved in providing advice, drafting, review of legal instruments, representation to participate in litigation, mediation or arbitration activities, for the entrusted other legal affairs, to safeguard the lawful rights and interests of the client.
Article 30 of the lawyer as a litigation agent or non-litigation legal affairs agent, shall be entrusted with the authority, safeguard the lawful rights and interests of the principal.
Article 31 of the lawyer as a defender, shall, in accordance with the facts and the law, put forward the suspect, the defendant is not guilty, or mitigate, exempted from criminal responsibility of the materials and opinions, and to safeguard the suspect, the defendant's procedural rights and other lawful rights and interests.
Article 32 A client may refuse to allow a lawyer who has been appointed to continue to defend or represent him or her, and may at the same time appoint another lawyer to act as his or her defender or agent.
A lawyer accepts the entrustment, without justification, shall not refuse to defend or represent. However, the commission is illegal, the client uses the services provided by the lawyer to engage in illegal activities or the client intentionally conceals important facts relating to the case, the lawyer has the right to refuse to defend or represent.
