There is no perfect partner, only the right one.

Recently, I am chasing after Gao Yuanyuan’s comeback after giving birth in the TV series "Perfect Partner". Although the plot is not over yet, from the daily lives of the two couples in the play, we can see the shadow of many families in reality. Middle-aged couples lose the romantic passion of their youth and have more trust and understanding between each other over the years.

Each two families have their own patterns, just like the acquaintances in the hospital in the first episode of the play. As the saying goes, no comparison means no harm. It was because of the enthusiastic help in the play and the care he had never enjoyed that Wu began to be dissatisfied with his partner Lin Qingkun. Let’s analyze the relationship between the two couples in the play.

01

Sun Lei and Chen Shan’s marriage has always been a happy one, following the model of “the outsider is in charge of the inside and the woman is in charge of the outside”. As a professional securities lawyer, Chen Shan showed a strong aura as soon as she appeared on the scene and was the best lawyer in the entire law firm.

Although Sun Lei is an RD pharmaceutical engineer at Suntech Pharmaceutical Company, he focuses more on his family and taking care of his children. This division of labor model over the years has also made Sun Lei a good teacher. He loved his wife and family, was kind-hearted and helpful. He could sacrifice his work for his family and enjoy it.

The couple was originally a pair with a high happiness index, and their education and family conditions were well matched. Their main conflict lies in their careers. It is true that Chen Shan is the family's breadwinner, and the family's main income comes from her hard work and diligence. Although Sun Lei does not earn as much as his wife, his scientific research work has also given him a job where he can use his professional expertise. His parents' house in Jiading, his hometown, is also about to be demolished. With this financial foundation, he could give his wife the confidence to have a second child.

There are two conflicts between them. The first time was at the beginning of the plot. Chen Shan went to chase clients for work, regardless of the safety of her family and children. She got into a car accident, causing her daughter to jump off a building and injure her cervical vertebra. She went to the hospital for rescue. But Chen Shan insisted on sending the plan to the customer even though she was injured and had a nosebleed. Sun Lei angrily filed for divorce. This incident also shows that in Sun Lei's mind, family is definitely the first priority.

The second time, Chen Shan found out that Sun Lei was unemployed, but she deceived her and gave her a job that was not in line with his talents. It wasn't until she found Sun Lei's unit that she took the initiative to tell her the truth. After the two quarreled, their mood swings led to the miscarriage of their second child. Chen Shan filed for divorce. As Chen Shan herself said in the play, she didn't want to put pressure on Sun Lei to choose a life she didn't like for the sake of her wife's goals. In fact, she wanted Sun Lei to leave.

Chen Shan’s mother is a 69-year-old man who is still giving lectures and full of positive energy. It is this kind of family background that has trained Chen Shan to become such an outstanding lawyer who is full of passion, positivity and always strives for success. Sun Lei's parents are rich and satisfied, so Sun Lei cares more about the harmony and happiness of the family rather than how good he is. Of course, it was his full support and diligent family care that gave Chen Shan more time to work hard in his career.

Their small family is actually the most suitable marriage relationship. It was precisely because Sun Lei was willing to come back to find his wife and children that Chen Shan was able to do well in the career she loved.

The relationship between Lin Qingkun and Wu Min is somewhat unbalanced. Since they were college classmates, Wu Min even accompanied Lin Qingkun to study in the United States before graduating from college. When I was young, my love was all for him, but when Lin Qingkun took everything she did for the family for granted, never cared about her feelings, and couldn't see her dedication and advantages, my heart was no longer balanced. . Especially when he meets a warm man like Sun Lei who cherishes his family and children so much, Wu Min can no longer bear their cold marriage relationship.

A housewife like Wu Min was willing at first, but when everything she did for the family was not worth mentioning to her lover, she lost her value. Later, she wanted to open a day care class near the school and regard raising children as her own career. Lin Qingkun helped him register the day care class license in a domineering way, which made her feel less like doing things by herself. This value gap and the feeling of not being able to be himself in front of Lin Qingkun are the reasons why Wu Min really wants a divorce.

If Wu Min is looking for his own value, then Lin Qingkun is a person who maximizes his own advantages and value. It was his domineering and self-confidence that made him feel that he could be so domineering at home. The way he loves is to turn his back on Wu Min and give her the entire family; what she wants is not a hands-off shopkeeper like him, who only wants material but no spiritual and emotional attention.

Finally, Wu Min couldn't bear this kind of marriage and filed for divorce. Under Chen Shan's guidance, Lin Qingkun discovered his mistake. He neglected the company of his wife and son and did not give them the emotional warmth they deserved. In their marriage, Lin Qingkun didn't know how to love each other. He just loved each other in his own way, but he didn't know what Wu Min wanted.

In fact, in real life, many women will meet a partner like Lin Qingkun and live a widowed life. On the one hand, men work hard outside and have no time to take care of their families. On the other hand, their attitude towards their families is very domineering and absolutely male chauvinism. In such a marriage, a woman's love for her husband will gradually fade away and become a life together. When a woman no longer loves this man, that is when her marriage comes to an end. She had to apply for divorce and live alone with her children. This is called timely stop loss in economics. Because she is much happier alone with her children than with this man, and she can love herself better by avoiding violence and judgment.

Now the plot has developed to the point where the couple is getting divorced. Let's make a hypothesis. If Chen Shan and Lin Qingkun, two business partners who work well together, form a family together, it seems to be a perfect partnership. Maybe this combination of prince and princess is acceptable for a first marriage, but it may not be the most suitable at this stage of middle age, especially when they each have a ten-year-old child. After all, they had a perfect partnership with their ex-husband and ex-wife.

The most perfect marriage is not that two people are evenly matched, but that two people support and encourage each other, care for and love each other, and face the ups and downs of life together.

Complementary roles are the glue of marriage. One has to work hard to support his family on the battlefield, and the other has to take care of the elderly and children and provide logistical support.

There is no perfect partner, only the right one!
