1989- 10 began to teach in the Chinese Department of Hangzhou Normal University. Now he is a professor, a postgraduate tutor of Chinese language and literature, and the director of the Chinese language and literature teaching and research section of the School of Humanities. * * * He has offered undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Chinese teaching method in middle schools, ancient Chinese, Chinese characters in China, history of China (exegetics), history of Chinese and foreign linguistics, exegetics theory, introduction to Go, and special topics of ancient Chinese.

1997 presided over the collating project of ancient books in colleges and universities, the municipal social science fund project in 2002, the provincial social science fund project in 2004 1997, 200/kloc-0 respectively, the education department project in 2003 and the provincial social science fund project in 2004. His main research interests are exegetics and philology. Member of Chinese Language Society, member of China Exegetics Research Association, director of Zhejiang Language Society. He put forward a new viewpoint that "Liu Shu Shuo" is both a philology theory and an exegetical theory, and thought that "Liu Shu Shuo" was an exegetical article, not an exegetical method.
