Ren Mo is not only diligent and studious, but also famous for loving friends and respecting teachers. My friend Dong Fengde died in Luoyang. Because of his poor family, he was unable to send the coffin back to his hometown for burial. Ren Mo carried the coffin with a deer cart (ancient unicycle) and personally pushed it back to Dong Fengde's ancestral grave. According to ancient customs, a person who dies in a foreign land cannot be buried in his ancestral home, which is a lifelong event for the deceased or his family. At the end of Ren, it was a very admirable act of kindness to push a friend's bones home out of sincerity to his friends, regardless of the bumpy road and the wind and rain, which was called a beautiful talk. Later, Ren Mo returned to his hometown, and Shu Jun Shou once hired him to manage the general affairs of the county. He said he was ill and didn't go. Soon, his teacher died. He went to the funeral regardless of the long distance, but he died on the way. Before he died, Ren Mo said to his nephew Ren Yunzao, "You must send my body to the teacher's house. If people are conscious after death, I have done my duty as a disciple for the teacher, and my soul is not ashamed. If I am unconscious after death, I will be satisfied. " The demeanor of respecting teachers and loving friends in his last years had a good influence on later generations. In the book Records of Huayang Country written by Chang Qu, a famous historian in the Jin Dynasty, there is a sentence of "Ben Shu" in "the praise of sages, women and children". Wang Jia, a writer in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, recorded in the Notes to the Book of the Later Han Dynasty that Ren warned his students at his deathbed that "those who study tirelessly will die like life;" Ignorant people are just walking dead even if they are alive! " Since then, "the walking dead" has become an idiom, which means the walking dead, the body without soul, and refers to the people who don't work, that is, the living dead. It is also used to describe people who are mediocre, incompetent, idle and muddle along. As a local celebrity in the Han Dynasty, Ren's deeds were recorded in the later Xinfan County Records and Xinfan Local Records. During the May 4th Movement, the anti-feudal fighters wrote "Initiating Confucianism" in the first sentence of Xin Fan Middle School Song, and warmly praised Ren's academic and educational achievements in China.
