How to apply for a cross-region pass

Cross-regional permit application process:

1. The applicant applies for a travel permit and endorsement for the first time. The applicant shall submit the application in person at the entry-exit permit hall of the local public security bureau. Starting from April 1, 2019, citizens of the People's Republic of China can apply for travel passes to Hong Kong and Macao. Applicants apply for group travel visas to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan from other places. You cannot appoint an agent!

2. Submit copies of the applicant’s ID card and household registration book, and submit the originals.

3. A full-body color photo of the applicant with a light blue background (2-inch photo, size 48mm × 33mm) is attached to the application form. There is a special place for taking photos at the entrance and exit. If you take photos at an outside photo studio, remember to indicate in advance that they need to be used on your Hong Kong and Macau Pass and that you need a photo receipt.

4 If you are issuing a Hong Kong and Macao pass for the first time or renewing it, you must submit a photo receipt that has been connected to the provincial photo inspection center.

Chinese citizens who are over 16 years old and go to the border management area under any of the following circumstances should apply for a border pass:

1. Participate in scientific, technological, cultural, sports exchanges or professional exchanges Training, meetings, and engaging in activities such as investigations, interviews, and creations;

2. Engaging in activities such as exploration, contracting projects, labor services, production technology cooperation, or trade negotiations;

Materials required to apply for a border management zone pass

1. The applicant’s household registration book and ID card.

2. The review opinions of the unit’s personnel and security departments or the review opinions of enterprises and corporate legal persons.

3. Valid identity documents such as "Beijing Work Sponsor Certificate" or "Passport" for people from other provinces and cities, overseas Chinese, and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.

Border management area pass processing process

If you want to go to the border management area of ??other provinces, you must first fill in the border pass application form, and add the unit review on the border pass application form in accordance with the following regulations Opinions:

1. Personnel in agencies, groups, and public institutions shall be reviewed by the security (personnel) department of the unit;

2. If the enterprise establishes a security department, the security department shall provide review opinions ; If there is no security department, the enterprise legal person shall provide review opinions;

3. For other personnel, the public security police station or the township people's government where the permanent residence is located shall provide review opinions;

4. In border management Those who have worked in the district should also provide an employment contract from the labor department and a certificate from the employing unit. After adding your opinions, go to the household registration department of the district public security bureau with your resident ID card (or other valid documents) and border pass application form.

Who cannot apply for a border management zone pass?

The public security organs will not accept the case under any of the following circumstances:

(1) The defendant and the defendant in a criminal case identified by the public security organ, national security organ, people's procuratorate or people's court Criminal suspects;

(2) Persons who have been sentenced and are serving their sentences;

(3) Persons who are undergoing reeducation through labor;

Article 3. Mainland citizens traveling to Hong Kong and Macau for personal reasons can pass through designated ports with a Hong Kong and Macau travel permit issued by the Chinese public security organs; they can also return to the mainland through other ports open to the outside world.

Designated ports: Shenzhen to Hong Kong and Gongbei to Macau.
