Does a criminal record affect three generations? Which industries will be affected?

Criminal records generally will not affect three generations, but will only have a certain impact on the children of immediate family members.

The criminal record left by a criminal offense may affect the children's participation in civil service examinations, military recruitment, banks, state-owned enterprises, public institutions, military and police academies and other political examinations. It should be noted that if you apply for special positions, such as police, prison and other related positions, you will need documents proving that close relatives within three generations have no criminal records.

Civil servants generally do not hire people who have been criminally punished for crimes or have been expelled from the party. Therefore, criminal offenses will affect the future employment of children, but will not affect the employment of three generations.

3. Those who have been expelled from public office;

5. Other situations in which employees are not allowed to be employed as civil servants as stipulated by law.
