It depends on whether your behavior meets the requirements of self-defense. If it can be defined as self-defense, it can not bear criminal responsibility; If it is excessive defense, it should bear criminal responsibility, but it can be mitigated or exempted from punishment. In the above circumstances, it is possible to be exempted from criminal punishment.
Paragraph 2 of Article 20 of the Criminal Law stipulates: "If justifiable defense obviously exceeds the necessary limit and causes great damage, criminal responsibility shall be borne, but punishment shall be mitigated or exempted."
