Wuye Temple is located in the Wanfo Pavilion courtyard in Taihuai Town, Wutai Mountain. Wanfo Pavilion was built in the 44th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty, that is, 1616 AD, and was rebuilt in the Qing Dynasty. The existing temple buildings are mainly left over from the Qing Dynasty. The building covers an area of ??about 2,000 square meters, with a south gate and 23 halls and pavilions. There are two main ancient stages, Guangji Wanglong Bodhisattva Hall, Manjusri Hall, Ten Thousand Buddhas Hall and Tibetan Pagoda. They are all carved from 4-meter-high bluestone. They are small in size but beautiful in shape and make excellent temples.
