Criminal cases usually allow relatives to attend, and criminal cases generally require court permission. Auditing is the right of citizens or relatives to know, and it is also the need to improve judicial procedures. The audit of relatives is also a complete judicial procedure. Article 8 of the Rules of People's Republic of China (PRC) People's Court shall be heard in public, and citizens may attend; According to the location of the court session and the number of spectators, if necessary, enter the court with a side hearing issued by the people's court.
The following persons are not allowed to participate:
(1) Minors (except those approved by the court);
(2) mental patients and drunkards;
(3) Other personnel who are not suitable for auditing.
In practice, if the case is heard in public, ordinary citizens can attend. If the case is not heard in public because of a minor, only the suspect's family members are allowed to attend.
