Content of judicial examination

The national judicial examination mainly tests the legal professional knowledge and the ability to engage in legal profession that candidates should possess. The contents include: theoretical law, applied law, current legal provisions, legal practice and legal professional ethics.

The score of each test paper is 100, and the specific subjects of the test paper are:

Test paper 1: Comprehensive knowledge. Including jurisprudence, constitutional law, economic law, international law, private international law, international economic law, legal professional ethics and professional responsibility;

Examination Paper 2: Criminal and Administrative Legal System. Including: criminal law, criminal procedure law, administrative law and administrative procedure law;

Examination paper 3: Civil and commercial legal system. Including: civil law, commercial law, civil procedure law (including arbitration system);

Test paper 4: Example (case) analysis. Including: subjects listed in test papers 1, 2 and 3.

The aforementioned test papers 1, 2 and 3 are machine-readable multiple-choice questions; Test paper 4 is a written example (case) analysis problem (including legal document writing).

How to determine test scores and grant qualifications?

The national judicial examination shall be graded uniformly throughout the country, and the results shall be announced by the National Judicial Examination Office of the Ministry of Justice. The results of the national judicial examination are valid once. Those who take part in the examination have objections to the examination results, and may apply for score verification according to the prescribed procedures.

Those who pass the national judicial examination shall be awarded the legal professional qualification certificate by the Ministry of Justice. Persons who have passed the examination and obtained legal professional qualification certificates shall meet the conditions stipulated in the revised Judges Law, Prosecutors Law and Lawyers Law when they serve as judges and prosecutors and apply for practicing as lawyers.

Two. Registration method, time and place

In 2008, the registration method of national judicial examination is divided into two stages: online name prediction and on-site confirmation.

1, online forecast name. The online forecast time of the national judicial examination in 2008 is June 1 1 to 25th. Personnel who work or study outside the domicile can register at the domicile of work or study with the certificate issued by the work or study unit.

4. If you graduate from a legal vocational college in a relaxed area, register in a non-relaxed area or other relaxed areas and take the exam, and the test scores reach the qualified score line, you should apply for granting legal professional qualifications at the place of registration.

5. Law graduates whose household registration is in non-relaxed areas may not register and take exams in relaxed areas because they do not meet the registration requirements of the national judicial examination.

6. According to the Notice of the Ministry of Justice and the General Political Department of the People's Liberation Army on Organizing Servicemen to Participate in the 2002 National Judicial Examination ([2002] Zhengban Zi No.5), servicemen in remote areas who are convenient to register and take the examination locally can register for the examination at the registration point designated by the local judicial administrative organ with the letter of introduction from the political organ at or above the unit level.

Registration materials.

The applicant shall submit the following materials when registering:

1. Original and photocopy of my valid ID card (resident ID card, officer's card, soldier's card).

Persons who register for the national judicial examination with passports must submit their valid identity documents or household registration certificates at the same time.

Undergraduate graduates of ordinary colleges and universities in 2009 can register with the certificate issued by their institutions (the format certificate can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Justice).

Holders of graduation certificates (degrees) from Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan Province Province or foreign institutions of higher learning must also submit the certification of graduation certificates (degrees) issued by the Study Abroad Service Center of the Ministry of Education.

3. Applicants with household registration in areas with relaxed registration qualifications must submit a copy of the household registration certificate (printed version); The household registration code filled in the registration form should be consistent with the household registration place.

4. My mailing address.

If the above application materials are true and complete and meet the registration conditions, the judicial administrative organ of the registration place will issue the main certificate of the admission ticket, and the supplementary certificate of the admission ticket will be generated after review by the provincial judicial administrative organ, which will be downloaded by the applicants themselves from the website of the Ministry of Justice. If the applicant really can't download the supplementary certificate of the admission ticket, it can be obtained in the following ways:

(1) Fill in my mailing address accurately on the two envelopes provided by the registration point at the time of registration, which will be mailed by the judicial administrative organ. The judicial administrative organ shall clearly inform the applicant that if the mail cannot be delivered due to my mistake, the applicant shall bear the responsibility.

(2) Get it from the judicial administrative organ at the place of registration within the specified time.

(3) After contacting the judicial administrative organ of the registration place in advance according to the telephone number listed in the main certificate of the admission ticket, you can pick it up at the test center before the start of the first exam.
