How many provisions in the Criminal Procedure Law allow close relatives to access files?

Only close relatives who are the defenders have the authority to view the files, but it does not mean that all close relatives can view the files.

The law stipulates:

Article 38 of the "Criminal Procedure Law": From the date the People's Procuratorate examines the prosecution case, defense lawyers may inspect, excerpt, and copy case files. Other defenders may also consult, excerpt, and copy the above-mentioned materials with the permission of the People's Court or People's Procuratorate.
