Can a drunk driver be a lawyer?

If the perpetrator commits an intentional crime while drunk driving, he cannot be a lawyer. A citizen who has been expelled from public office by a state organ or whose lawyer's practice certificate or notary's practice certificate has been revoked, or a citizen who has been sentenced not to enroll in the national judicial examination within two years or sentenced not to enroll in the national judicial examination for life, may not become a lawyer.

Article 15 of the Measures for the Implementation of the National Judicial Examination: Persons who meet the following conditions may register for the National Judicial Examination: (1) They have the nationality of China people; (two) support the constitution of People's Republic of China (PRC), enjoy the right to vote and be elected; (3) Having full capacity for civil conduct; (4) Having graduated from an institution of higher learning with a bachelor's degree in law or a non-law major with legal expertise; (5) Good conduct. Article 16 "Measures for the Implementation of the National Judicial Examination" Personnel under any of the following circumstances shall not sign up for the National Judicial Examination. If the registration formalities have been completed, the registration shall be invalid: (1) Having been subjected to criminal punishment for intentional crimes; (2) Being expelled from public office by a state organ or having his lawyer's practice certificate or notary's practice certificate revoked; (three) was sentenced to two years shall not sign up for the national judicial examination, or was sentenced to life shall not sign up for the national judicial examination.
