As social legal workers, the construction of lawyers' integrity is particularly important. Due to the professional nature and work style of lawyers, the lawyer industry is one of the industries with the highest requirements for integrity in the whole society. Honesty is the comprehensive embodiment of lawyers' political quality, moral quality, cultural quality and professional discipline. On the one hand, lawyers should publicize and implement national laws and regulations and safeguard legal dignity; On the other hand, we must earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the parties. At the same time, most people think that lawyers represent social justice. If all industries that represent justice do not stress honesty, what honesty can there be in society? Therefore, honesty is the image of lawyers and the foundation of lawyers' practice. Lawyers must be honest and insist on practicing in good faith.
Second, honesty should be based on practice.
As a code of conduct, honesty is only a conceptual thing. If every practicing lawyer does not abide by it and put it into practice, honesty will be an empty slogan with no practical value. Honesty construction is a systematic project, which needs everyone's active efforts. As a practicing lawyer, how can we be honest? I think: First, we should strengthen the study of political thought. Perhaps many people think that lawyers are not * * * officials, but they study politics, but lawyers are social legal workers, who have the sacred duty to enforce laws and regulations and represent social justice to a certain extent. If they don't care about politics, their practical activities will deviate from the principles and policies of the party and the state. So, is it necessary to be honest? The second is to strengthen the change of outlook on life and values. Lawyers are freelancers and should pay attention to economic benefits. However, in the interaction between money and all kinds of people, we should not lose our integrity for money and pleasure, but should establish a correct outlook on life and values. Third, in specific practical activities, we should run honesty through all the work, change the concept of practice and enhance the sense of service. In accordance with the requirements of lawyers' professional ethics and practice discipline, standardize their own behavior, firmly establish the concept of good faith, safeguard justice, perform their duties diligently, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of clients. Keep state secrets, business secrets and personal privacy of customers. Actively provide legal aid to socially disadvantaged groups. Respect peers, fair competition, and mutual assistance in the same industry. Study business knowledge hard and constantly improve the level of practice. Increase service transparency, open and civilized service, and consciously accept supervision from all walks of life.
