This has great appeal to me and fascinates me. I graduated from Peking University in July 1951. When the leaders of the law department asked me to allocate my application, I did not hesitate to propose that I go to the law department of Renmin University of China to study criminal law as a graduate student. The leadership of the legal department fulfilled my wishes through research. In this way, from August 1951, I was recommended to the Law Department of Renmin University of China to study as a postgraduate student in criminal law. During the two-year postgraduate study, I received professional education from four experts from the former Soviet Union: Beslova, Damakhen, Nikol Raev and Korkin, and gained a more comprehensive and systematic understanding of criminal law. and in-depth understanding, and the interest in research is becoming more and more intense. This laid a solid foundation for my professional thinking. I thought over and over again that I have an indissoluble bond with the criminal law, and I am afraid that I will only be able to eat this bowl of rice from now on. Sure enough, after I graduated from graduate school, I was hired to teach at the school and stayed there for 50 years. I went from a young man to an old man, and now I am still an "old antique". Looking back on my journey, I can summarize it in three sentences: First, my father’s sincere teachings inspired me to complete my college studies, and I lived up to his last wish; second, Professor Li Haopei’s lectures inspired me to I developed a strong interest in criminal law, which determined the direction of my life; thirdly, the education from three universities (Zhejiang University, Peking University, and Renmin University) laid my professional foundation and made me never forget the kindness of my alma mater. As far as I'm concerned, I'm just stupid. I have been looking for criminal law and have been pursuing it persistently. My professional thinking has never wavered from beginning to end. I don't want to be an official or do business, so I want to be a qualified professor. Ordinary people are not qualified to be verbose.
