Yan 'an Road Viaduct, Inner Ring Road, Middle Ring Road, Outer Ring Road and Shanghai Metro Lines 2, 3, 4, 10 and 15 pass through this area. Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport is located in the west of this area.
Changning has the most concentrated foreign-related high-standard residential business office complex in Shanghai, including Gubei New District, Xinhua Road, Hongqiao Garden Villa, middle and high-grade residential areas along Suzhou Creek, and ordinary new village residential areas in old Shanghai. Hongqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone, a national development zone located in Changning, is one of the earliest and most mature modern business districts in Shanghai, where foreign consulates and top 500 enterprises gather and foreigners live in Shanghai.
