If a lawyer acts as an agent ad litem, he may consult the transcripts of the trial.

The Supreme People's Court's Interpretation of the Application of the Criminal Procedure Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) Article 65 A lawyer may consult, extract and copy the case file as an agent in litigation. Other agents ad litem, with the permission of the people's court, may also consult, extract and copy the case files.
If a lawyer acts as an agent ad litem and needs to collect and obtain relevant evidence in this case, it shall be implemented with reference to the provisions of Articles 59 to 61 of this Interpretation.
