The Historical Evolution of Hengshi Town

Hengshi has a long history. It was opened in Chongzhen 17 (AD 1644) in Ming Dynasty. Because a horizontal stone crosses Xumen, there is a mashi well on its side. The spring water is crystal clear and does not dry up at four o'clock, so it was named "Hengshijing" and later renamed "Hengshijing". 1984 named it "Hengshijing". Since the late Qing Dynasty, Hengshi has set up an organizational system and an alliance bureau. After changes, the town was removed and established. 1988.

Hengshi has been an important trade route since ancient times. According to the records of rural history, in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, "merchants came from the south to the north, and there was an endless stream" and "rice withered and diesel oil was a hundred loads". With the deepening of reform and opening-up, the century-old ancient fair is changing with each passing day, and the area of the fair town is constantly expanding. There are 8 commercial streets and more than 500 commercial shops.
