Wuxi is bordered by the Yangtze River in the north and Taihu Lake in the south, and the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal passes through the city. There are many rivers in the city, and there are many rivers in every town and every place. In agriculture, Wuxi is a disaster-free area for many years. When it rains heavily, drain the water from the farmland into the river, and the crops will not be drowned. When there is drought, the water from the river will be poured into the farmland, so the grain crops in Wuxi can ensure a bumper harvest every year. Although Wuxi is a prefecture-level city, its reputation is not as good as that of Hefei's provincial cities, but its gdp is a trillion-dollar city, and many provincial cities are not as good as Wuxi.
I spent four years in Hefei and four years in Wuxi, and I am still in Wuxi. Wuxi is a small city far less than Hefei, but in terms of development, Wuxi is equivalent to a little giant, and Hefei is like a bloated fat man. I think Wuxi is much more developed than Hefei, and the environment is much better. The traffic is never blocked. The subway has opened two lines, and the ground public transportation is particularly developed. Unlike Hefei, taxis are reluctant to enter the city after five o'clock. Wuxi's environment is better than Hefei's, not to mention the salary, which is more than one grade higher than Hefei's, but the house price is definitely not as good as Hefei's. As far as personal development and residence are concerned, I think Wuxi has won completely. But I will definitely go back to Hefei in the future, because I am from Anhui, and I can't forget my roots, which is very contradictory. Although Wuxi is a prefecture-level city, it also has some advantages. Hefei can't compare with Wuxi. This is the relationship between the right place and the right time.
