Wood properties of Eucalyptus salicifolia: the wood has luster, no special smell and taste, staggered texture, thick structure and uniform weight. Eucalyptus wood has good natural gas drying performance, and only some defects such as cracking and warping appear.
Eucalyptus globulus: There are two kinds of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus), Eucalyptus globulus and Eucalyptus globulus.
Eucalyptus alba, an evergreen tree, has tall and straight trunk, thick wooden structure, straight or staggered slope, easy to dry and process, and has good properties such as nailing, painting and glue. Physical properties: soft material, easy to crack, moderate strength and toughness, moderate seismic performance, moderate corrosion resistance and moderate steam bending performance. Widely used in building furniture, floor plywood, outdoor floors, cabinets and so on.
Eucalyptus rubra, the wood structure texture is also like Eucalyptus alba, and the radial section pattern is beautiful, but it is difficult to dry. Physical properties: hard material, high strength and toughness, good seismic performance, moderate corrosion resistance and moderate steam bending resistance. It can be used for high-grade furniture, indoor floors and other home decoration, and can be used as a substitute for mahogany. At the same time, eucalyptus sawdust is often used as a culture medium for edible fungi (such as Pleurotus eryngii).
During the drying process, eucalyptus globulus will slightly warp and crack. Eucalyptus is hard, brown-eyed, long in fiber, elastic and easy to deform.
