The three parties will formally sign the Chengdu 20021Universiade contract at the FISU Executive Committee meeting from March 6 to 5, 2009. President FISU and members of the Standing Committee highly recognized Chengdu's bid, and after consulting all the executive committees, they unanimously agreed to grant Chengdu the right to host the 20021World Universiade.

The average age of athletes in the delegation is 22.9 years old, including 206 male athletes and 205 female athletes. 387 people participated in the Summer Universiade for the first time, 24 people participated in previous Universiade, and 344 people participated in the World Comprehensive Games for the first time.
